Waffle Recipe

September 16, 2016

2 large eggs

1 Tablespoon Sugar

4 Teaspoon Baking Powder

Pinch of salt

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 3/4 Cups Milk

Splash Of Vanilla

Beat the two eggs in a large bowl until light and fluffy

Add the sugar, baking powder and salt, mix lightly

Add the oil and whisk until combined

Fold in the flour lightly and add the milk and vanilla, whisk all of this very lightly

Your batter should be thick and slightly lumpy ( Over beaten batter makes tough waffles)

Pre heat your waffle iron according to its instructions

Brush both the plates of the iron with butter or oil

Pour enough batter to cover the bottom plate and close the iron

Let it cook until the waffle is light golden brown in color or according to its instructions

My iron  takes 5 minutes

Once the waffles are done, let them cool on a wire rack (This makes them crisp and not soggy)

Top it as you wish, I opted for nutella, ice cream and chocolate waffer crumble
